Re: About Glasses…
I had the pleasure of hanging out at a Best Buy for an hour and a half or so today while they car guys installed a hands-free telephone dealio into my uber-wagon. I eventually meandered over to the game section and then over to where they had Rock Band set up.
Man those drums were beat to hell, as in the top layer was missing from one and hanging by a thread on another. I didn’t even realize that the Rock Band drum pads had layers. They still seemed to work fine, which says something I suppose.

The official Prototype web site has exciting news. It has a new countdown clock! As you can see, there’s not much of a wait, but what does Activision have planned for Prototype?
Just before the holidays, the developer of Prototype, Radical Entertainment, hinted that we may see the action adventure game sooner than its planned. “We’ll see you real soon,” read the Christmas card.
Well, we’ll be seeing what’s news with Prototype in just a matter of days at the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas this week. Keep your eyes peeled.

La revista británica GamesTM ha ofrecido nuevos detalles de I Am Alive, el título de Ubisoft que se anunció en el pasado E3 y cuyo argumento gira alrededor de un terremoto que destruye Chicago.
MTV’s Stephen Totilo is mixing things up over at Multiplayer, first redesigning the site to look oddly familiar, now posting odd, news-light videos.
Totilo’s first stab at irrelevant videos is a quick tour through some of the game-related crap he discovered in his desk while cleaning out the office. Included in the list: wooden Pac-Man ghost, Mario patch, and business cards, including one that actually has “CliffyB” printed on it. Oh Dude Huge.

Why doesn’t the mainstream media ever focus on the positive aspects of Grand Theft Auto’s influence on our six year olds? Stealing the family sedan is petty in the name of perfect attendance.
Take the six year old offspring of Jacqulyn Deana Waltman and David Eugene Dodson from Wicomico Church, Virginia who swiped his parents’ Ford Taurus after missing the school bus. The unnamed boy told police he learned how to drive a decade early thanks to his experience with Grand Theft Auto and Monster Truck Jam.
Unfortunately, he crashed said Taurus after a six mile drive. Sounds about right. Don’t think I’ve ever had a car survive much longer than five miles in any GTA game.
“He was very intent on getting to school,” said Sheriff Chuck Wilkins. And good for him! Well, except for the fact that his parents have been charged with child endangerment and that he and his brother have been take into protective custody.

Han aparecido por la red rumores sobre un nuevo juego de la serie Magna Carta para Xbox 360 que se publicaría con el subtítulo de Crimson Stigma.
/ In this latest Skate 2 developer diary-style video featurette, online producer Brian Lindley reveals new online multiplayer modes for the game before storming off set and ultimately killing a guy with eldritch energies.
Brian does a fine job of detailing Skate 2’s new online features despite being obviously uncomfortable in his role of straight man to Cuz, who comes off as so annoying that he’s almost enough to make me not want to buy the game. The ability to create your own spaces and share them online with other users is definitely nifty, as is the mini-game that rewards the most hideous falls - the only one I can ever see myself winning. I just wish I hadn’t spent the entire video muttering “shut up, shut up, shut up” under my breath while rocking back and forth in my chair like a patient in a psychiatric ward.
